Patrick was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. I wanted to surprise my Mom with 3 dance lessons for her birthday so that we could do something special for our mother/son dance at my wedding. I reached out to him based on the amazing reviews he received on google, and I was NOT let down.

Having had no prior training in dance before, I didn't have a clear cut idea on how many lessons would be necessary or not. We wanted to start the dance with "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong and then switch it over to swing and surprise people with "Jump Jive and Wail" by Brian Setzer. Patrick choreographed the entire dance and was open to revising it to reach our vision.

He has a great sense of humor while teaching, but also has great leadership skills. He won't let you settle for a mediocre performance when he knows your potential, and he quickly got a sense of what we were capable of. We had such a fun and memorable experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Patrick does private lessons and also group lessons for a fantastic price, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a great level of experience with dancing, or is a complete first timer.

I highly recommend Piazza Dance for couples interested in taking dance lessons! My husband I took lessons with Patrick for our first dance at our wedding, and we received so many compliments from our guests!

First off, Patrick is amazing. Not only is he friendly and funny, but he is very passionate about dance. He made the process of learning our first dance both fun and informative. For both my husband and I, taking these dance lessons was the best parts of the wedding planning process. Patrick was also very flexible; my husband and I had 9pm start times for our lesson to accommodate for our busy work schedules. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience.

After telling my parents about our lessons, they too became interested in learning some basic dance skills before the wedding. My father, who feels very uncoordinated, was very hesitant to try out the lessons. However, my husband and I gifted my parents three lessons before the wedding, and they absolutely loved their experience as well. My dad expressed multiple times how fun it was to try something new with my mother, and how fun Patrick made the lessons. Piazza Dance is certainly the place to go for your dance lessons!

one month before my wife and I got married, we decided that we wanted a first dance that was more interesting. Pat taught us the basics and got us to the point where we can say "we did more than the typical couple". He listened to our needs and cared about our opinions. He made sure we were happy with what he was teaching us. We really tested his abilities. On our last session, we asked if we could change up the routine and he delivered. We were worried that it was too late to change things but instead pat accepted the challenge. On the spot he tweaked the routine and gave us what we needed to make our fist dance even more special. Really appreciate his flexibility.

Another unspoken advantage is that he does a little bit of wedding counseling/prep. He reminded us that the first dance is us sharing our moment with our guests. That was a constant reminder which helped ease things for us. He taught us how to give the videographers and photographers the best shots. he works to bring out your personality on the dance floor. He helps with confidence. gets you out of your comfort zone especially if dancing is foreign to you.

Trust me, your wedding day will be crazy and at times out of your control. Things that can go wrong will go wrong. Stress less and let Pat help you especially if dancing isn't your thing.

Patrick was fantastic! My husband and I took private dance lessons with him to have a special first dance. Not only was it super fun in the process, we had an amazing first dance. Patrick listened to what we wanted and choreographed a dance unique for us. We loved it. He is so fun and energetic. We definitely recommend him for your wedding dance! He also does all kind of dance instruction- not just for weddings!

Patrick was very nice and professional! His lessons helped so much and he is a very talented teacher. The atmosphere is very relaxed so there is not a lot of pressure on you, which is nice. I did one on one lessons which I highly recommend because all of his attention is on you and your partner. I did it for my wedding and couldn't imagine not having any lessons beforehand! The actual dance room is very well lit, it's clean, spacious and professional. I will recommend Patrick to everyone I know who is looking to learn new or perfect their current dancing skills.

My fiancé and I started dance lessons in March 2017, having zero experience in dancing or in knowing any of the types of dance. We were hoping to gain some experience before our upcoming wedding in October. Patrick suggested we first take group lessons, to learn different styles of dance and to get acclimated in an environment that was fun and meant for learning. Then once we felt comfortable with a few of the steps, he suggested we move to private lessons to establish a choreography for our first dance song at our wedding. WE HAD A BLAST! Group lessons were so much fun, learning and dancing with other people all with different skill levels. Patrick took the time to pay attention to everyone, teaching the basics in the first lessons and progressing as the month went on. Private lessons were perfect as well. Patrick made sure he understood our comfort level and wishes for our first dance. He was always professional, but never without his outgoing personality shining through. He truly cares about his customers and I would recommend him to anyone. My fiancé and I feel completely ready for our dance next week! Patrick is just wonderful - my (now husband!!) and I were looking for someone to help us choreograph our first dance at our wedding and take dancing lessons from - and I cannot tell you how much we loved the entire experience (and what an amazing dance he put together and taught us in under a month!) Patrick is not only a patient and motivating teacher but he made the entire expierence so much fun! He had us laughing through most of our lessons and he was just a genuinely great person to learn from. He was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and look forward to taking more dance lessons from him in the future.

My (now) husband and I took three lessons from Patrick starting about 5 weeks before our wedding. He was able to get us comfortable on the dance floor and put together a simple routine (including an intro, showstopper end) that really impressed our guests, and more importantly, made our first dance all about us. I was afraid that our first dance would seem to go on forever with people blankly staring at us, but after working with Patrick, I can honestly say that it flew by (in a good way) and we had so much fun doing it.
