I guess everyone who had negative reviews about the space has never been crushed up against a barricade in a mosh pit.
I thought this was a fine place. A little outdated but nothing horrible. You do sit fairly close to people but it was a gospel Christmas show and it was great to be worshipping with other people. Get ready for heaven, saints!
The water bottles were $5. That’s wild. The bathrooms were clean and people were in there taking care of everything.
The sound wasn’t the best so people were correct on that.
Everything else good. There weren’t any major problems

This is my second time coming to Chrysler Hall for a show!!! And each time has been a hit! From the show to the staff, I had no problems parking, and I love the concession stand for drinks!!!! I can't wait to come back in February for MJ!!!!

Took grandkids to see Paw patrol live. Great show. Merchandise was reasonable but bought a voucher anyway. Snack prices were ridiculously overpriced. Kids we happy nonetheless

Beautiful venue! Friendly and helpful staff! The only thing we wished we could have done is pay for our drinks with cash. Other than that, if you want to see a show and have a wonderful experience, this is the place to see one!

Love live theatre! And the Chrysler always has great shows. The theatre is older however so not all seats are created equal. But the backstage lounge is WORTH the upgrade, and every concession server I’ve ever ordered from has been delightful 🙂
When I went to see Avatar in concert they even had cabbage noodles at the backstage lounge. That attention to detail really put the whole thing over the top, love it!!

The theater felt very uncomfortable. The entrances and exits to the main area are on the sides, which means that throughout the performance, you'll be bothered by the constant opening and closing of doors, the light coming in from outside, and the flashlights of the ushers helping people who are late or getting up to go to the bathroom.

If you're near the doors, you'll have an uncomfortable experience that will prevent you from enjoying the show. You should work in this issue, either by installing some black curtains to block out the outside light or by removing the seats that are close to the doors.

Another issue is that the rows are overcrowded, with no central aisle and thin side aisles. Too many people are crammed into a single row. The seating arrangement and access points do not allow for a comfortable experience. Additionally, there are too few restrooms for the number of people.

The Chrysler Hall definitely needs maintenance and/or renovation.

Came from out of town and took my sister to see The Harlem Dance Troup. They were absolutely fantastic. We had orchestra seats, and it was great. Parking was in the garage across the street. I haven't been here in decades. I'm glad to see it is just as active and fabulous as ever. Big gorgeous venue. Right next to scope smack dab in the middle of downtown Norfolk.

This was my first time attending an event at Chrysler Hall and I will say I am very impressed. There's a parking garage right underneath. It was well staffed. The sound was great. The seats were comfortable. Will definitely be looking to attend more events here
