MUST VISIT DANCE STUDIO IN BOSTON! The founders of Boston Dance Studios are doing wonders for their community, there are locked in with the street dance community and conversate with many of Boston's crucial dancing artist and provide space for the community to build.

This December 14 they just hosted their "Winter Popping Competition" which was in collaboration with Megatron + Slaughter House. I personally had a beautiful experience competing and meeting so many new dancers as well as had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, grateful to have walked away the winner of the dance event.

But super cool experience overall, Majority of all the dancers you need to know for Boston's Popping Community were present, which is a blessing in itself because that doesn't happen to often when done else where.

Do yourself a favor and go check in with Boston Dance Studios and get plugged in so you can connect with the local dance culture and excel your dance education.

As a returning dancer and someone starting over abroad, these dance classes saved me on so many levels.
I look forward to each class and my favorite instructor is Jeryl. If you are looking for a beginner friendly class where you also feel loved then this is it for you.
I am so grateful for all the teachers here who patiently work with people of all levels.

BDS is a wonderful studio! There is a huge variety of classes from heels to hip hop, contemporary, dance hall, NBA pro style, and jazz! There are also lots of opportunities to train with guest instructors from all over the world. The staff are SO amazing. These are formally and professionally trained dancers who have studied dance and danced for pop stars, NBA teams, in movies, in music videos, and at worldwide performances like Coachella and the superbowl! You WILL NOT find as many professional instructors at any other studio around!!!!

I am so happy boston dancers like myself now has a home studio to practice at. Pandemic has hit a lot of studios hard and I am so glad that Boston Dance Studios was able to open up this year! 🙏🏻 they work hard to bring in the best dance training as well as invite out of state teachers to come teach! I went to Axel’s hip hop class, which was a blast and high heels classes from Dan Lai and Sabina that came from NYC! If you are looking to train in hip hop, contemporary, high heels, dancehall - BDS has it all.

If you’re looking for a place to dance and train in different styles this is the place! You can dance from hip hop, to heels, to contemporary, nba pro style and more! Every single instructor is there to support your growth. I personally have felt like I found my home studio! There’s not one class I do not like!
They also put sooo much effort in the space, it’s gorgeous and it’s SUCH a vibe! I highly recommend going here!

coming up on my 45th birthday, my friend suggested taking a hip hop class w/ Ro...haven't been in a studio in more than 20 years but it was a reminder of a) how absolutely amazing and supportive and FUN the dance community can be and b) how much our bodies can do when we let go...what a special way to head into this next year...I'll probably take the beginners class next time 🤣 but not because of Ro (she was the most welcoming and her choreo was wild)...if you're feeling nervous about going, don't be...it was a blast!

I absolutely adore BDS! If I'm not at home/work, 9 times out of 10 you can find me here getting training from the amazing teachers on staff. I haven't danced this consistently since I was a teenager and it's so great to have classes for all experience levels. Not to mention the all guest teachers I've gotten to learn from since I started! Whether you're going the professional route, getting back into dance like I am, or starting out, Boston Dance Studio has the training and supportive environment all dancers deserve!

Boston Dance Studios is the premier studio to take dance classes with! They offer a variety of classes, and all of the faculty teachers are amazing. I truly believe it’s impossible to find a studio in Boston that offers quality classes WITH top-notch, professional dancers AND in a convenient location. I’ve personally taken classes with Tara, Alexis, Zay, Patrick, and Levi, and I’ve loved training with each one of them!
