This community studio space is excellent and a huge asset for Salida! The space is clean and well organized, which is not the usual for such a messy art form. Offering memberships, classes, workshops, and more - this place has it all. Molly, the business owner, is a wonderful human and supports local artists in big ways. She fosters a great environment of artist exploration, community connections, and everything in between. We're lucky to have this space here in our small town!

Salida Ceramics is the most exciting addition to the Salida community this year! The studio offers classes taught by experienced artists with a passion for encouraging the creative development of their students. During classes you are also allowed (and encouraged) to use open studio time where you can work on your pieces from class or create new ones. I absolutely loved my hand building class with Kristen and have already signed up for the next set of classes! As soon as I heard that there was going to be a community clay studio in Salida I started excessively emailing the owner (who was extremely patient with me😂) so I could learn more. I’ve had the pleasure of 2 sessions of classes for beginners with 2 awesome instructors…each time getting new pearls of wisdom unique to that teacher. It’s such a gift to the community, and to me as someone not naturally artistic but loves (and had been missing) working with my hands.

My kiddo is in the kid’s clay and now we’re both obsessed! Just the BEST!
