I had a terrible experience at Lyndale Garage. I brought my car in to have the radiator fixed. About an hour into my cross country move, my car overheated and started smoking on the highway. After a 5 hour delay, I was made aware my thermostat gauge had broken.
When I contacted Lyndale, they agreed to reimburse me for the repair as the mechanic who ended up fixing the thermostat gauge confirmed that the issue was directly related to the work done on my radiator—they weren’t careful.
I followed up 1-2 times a week for 3 months. Don't agree to pay for something and then stop responding.
I wouldn’t trust them with my car again. Also - radiator is still hissing. Not worth the stress or lack of accountability.

They have never failed,when My engine went.
They found one an installed at a very fair price.
They give you a ride if needed.
Every one for the past 25 yrs plus.
Have treated my family fairly an honestly.
There old school in values an service.
The way it should be ,but is not any more.

I came into this shop for a new alternator Oct 2023 and received a rebuilt one(without my knowledge )that failed 9 months later, I go back because of my warranty and they replaced a hose without my permission and kept my car over night.I drove home and my car starts smoking. This is a nightmare. (Pictures included)

We've come here for quite a while and it used to be our go to garage but something has changed, maybe new owners. The last few times have been such a bad experience. Drop off car for a checkup, no call. Call around 4,415 and it goes straight to VM. Finally get a hold of them and they say we have to race there from work just to find out they havent looked at it. They keep the car for so long with no communication. It's happened over and over again and we were really patient but this was the last time. Dropped car off. Went to pick up after no communication again and they still hadn't looked at it. It's really lacking in basic courtesy. If you set an appointment for a car to be looked at, then you should keep it and communicate the status. If you are really busy, just put people off for longer. We had both cars fixed and one started having new problems after the fix. We were hoping they would fix it but we don't have time for the games.

The best thing about this place is the "shuttle" service it provides. Voice mails have been left and emails have been sent. Both in regards to issues that have not been resolved. I recommend everyone to wait for vehicle and inspect what was completed. More to come.

I took my car to Lyndale Garage and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the moment I walked in. They took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood what needed to be. It's rare to find such a friendly and professional team, I highly recommend them to anyone in need of car repairs or maintenance!
