My alternator belt broke while I was driving to Vermont, and a battery warning light came on. I didn't know what to do, but I happened to be driving by Berkshire automotive and decided to pull in. As soon as I parked, my battery died, I had minimal cell service and was unfamiliar with the area. Although they were minutes from closing up for the day, the guys at Berkshire automotive stayed late and replaced my alternator belt and got us back on the road. I came back a few days later to give them a tip and thank them for the great service. I don't know what I would have done without their knowledge and kindness.

These guys are great. Really friendly and know their stuff. Helped me with a code + diagnosis, repair, and inspection. Marco made sure to explain my issue in detail and prove it while we had it on the lift. Then when the fix was complete, demonstrated the improvement. Very quick and very affordable. I had an issue with my Chevrolet Silverado. Long story short, I spent a lot of money with a lot of other mechanics and neither of the other mechanics could fix my truck. Berkshire auto had it fixed in less than a day… for a lot less money than anticipated as well. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody who needs work done on their vehicle .

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I bring all my vehicles here (have 4 high mileage cars) and have always had great experiences. I've had them do brakes, suspension, fuel pump, and even the dreaded Ford internal water pump. Marcos has always been good about letting me know when he can get my car in (some shops will just take your car and sit on it for weeks) so I know when the work will be done. His prices are the best I've found in the area and he doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need. Also, great customer service. Had brakes done on my Pacifica and they didn't sound right after a bit. I called Marcos and he swapped out the defective rotors free of charge. Can't beat great service, great price, and a shop that will make things right if people let them know.
