After a lifetime of bad experiences at the big chain muffler shops, where I paid top dollar for slipshod work by whoever they happened to hire, I decided it was time to search for an independently owned muffler shop, where I hoped to get a quality muffler system installed by someone who not only knows what they’re doing, but also takes pride in their work.

I highly recommend this family owned business in the Berkshires. The mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely efficient. I called the day before the shop was closing for a week vacation. The owner said to bring my car in right away. Within an hour of my initial phone call, the car was fixed and the exhaust sounds great! I could not be happier with my recent experience with Rufo's Muffler and Auto Services.

Rufo's is a gem in the Berkshires, I cannot say enough good things about this place. They came highly recommended by coworkers and did not disappoint. Not only did they fix my loud exhaust in just a few hours, but they did it far more affordably than I could have ever imagined! The staff are friendly and super helpful. I recommend and will be returning here again next time I'm in need of service!

Fast, friendly and affordable. Its nice to see a local, family run business that's survived for so long. That fact alone lets us know these people are solid. Lastly to see a father and son team working so well together is a beautiful thing. Anytime I hear of anyone needing muffler or automotive repairs ill be sure they call Rufos.
