I just had my car worked on and had to leave this amazing review. It’s so hard to find good auto shops or mechanics. I have had my wheel alignment done by Mavis and Town Fair tire, both of whom were not able to correct the offset of my steering wheel. Went in for a wheel alignment today at Monro and I could see the mechanic diligently taking his time to ensure the alignment was done properly and the steering wheel corrected. He even took it for a test drive after to double check his work. I would highly recommend this place for anything you need. Very friendly, very efficient, and worth every penny I paid. Will be returning for other car needs anytime in the future. Very impressed with the work and I smile every time I look at my now straight steering wheel. Thank you so much Monro and whoever was working the front counter today who did my wheel alignment! ?

Had a small puncutre in one of my tires. They plugged it up and had me out in about half and hour and less than $30. Mark was super friendly and professional. Will look to have other services (new brake pads) taken care of there.

I arrived at the shop by tow truck, after experiencing a flat tire. I was taking care of quickly and courteously
Everything was done within a half hour.
The man at the front desk was kind and polite, annd everything went very smoothly.

I was able to schedule an oil change 3 hours in advance and get right in. It took about an hour to complete, as they were simultaneously working with 3 other customers. The front desk worker was communicative and there is plenty of seating in the waiting area.

I drove across town to the Monro on Cheshire Road in Pittsfield at approximately 4:00 p.m. They informed me they couldn’t change my oil because multiple employees had called out, leaving them short-staffed. While they explained this, I noticed someone in one of the bays sitting on the ground and texting. I’m generally understanding—things happen, and it wasn’t a big deal.

I called the Monro on Pittsfield Lenox Road to see if they could help. Someone answered and said they couldn’t take me until 5:30 p.m. I asked if there was any way they could fit me in sooner, explaining it was about a 15-minute drive from the other location. They insisted 5:30 was the earliest availability. They asked for my car’s make, model, and year, which I provided, and they scheduled the appointment.

I made a few stops and still had 30 minutes to spare, so I waited in my car and read until it was time. At 5:30, I went into the Pittsfield Lenox Road location, only to be told, “We don’t have the proper filter available to service your car. It’s been a dead day. If you had come before 5:00 p.m., we would’ve been able to get the filter for you.”

I’m writing this review not because I want anything from Monro, but to warn others not to waste their time with this company.
