Attending the Shakespeare Company's production of The Comedy of Errors was an experience that left me utterly blown away! The actors and actresses delivered performances that were nothing short of hilarious, capturing the essence of Shakespeare's wit with impeccable timing and infectious energy. Each character was brought to life with such charm and comedic flair that the entire theater was in stitches from start to finish.

The stage design, reimagined as a vibrant circus, was a stroke of creative genius. The colorful, whimsical sets and costumes perfectly complemented the chaotic and farcical nature of the play, adding an extra layer of visual delight to the performance. The circus theme was not just a backdrop—it was integral to the storytelling, creating a dynamic atmosphere that enhanced the humor and energy of the production.

As always, the Shakespeare Company delivered an unforgettable experience. This production of The Comedy of Errors was a masterclass in comedy, creativity, and pure theatrical joy. It’s the kind of performance that stays with you long after the curtain falls. Simply outstanding!

Just spent an evening at the Arthur S. Waldstein amphitheater at the Shakespeare Theater campus in Lenox. Saw "A Comedy of Errors", which was very entertaining and well performed.
This is a smaller outdoor theater with about 200 seats. The chairs are comfortable canvas.
The only negative is that as the evening grew dark, the mosquitoes came out, so either wear long pants and sleeves or bring some insect repellent.

Shake it up: a Shakespeare Cabaret is brilliant! An out of the ordinary creation that you want to experience. Fun, witty. Shakespeare mixed with popular rock, blues and jazz tunes such as Rubber Band Man, Nothing from Nothing, How to Get to Sesame Street. See it —. or anything done by this incredible company.!

Multi-faceted talent was on display today during an amazingly versatile production featuring superb physical animation on stage. This phenom more than made up for the limited amount of overwhelming visual or auditory stimuli that were so skillfully trimmed from this sometimes raucous play. Kudos to everyone involved in making this delightful performance the fantastic entertainment I stumbled upon today and quickly turned into the highlight of my weekend!?

We loved the play Art - really creative and well acted. It was modified from the original - and they were fun relevant to the times. We really enjoyed it! It was a tad bit hot seeing it outdoors at 2pm in August - so consider that in heat of summer months. There are some shaded areas and you can always bring a fan. Luckily a nice cloud band appeared and cooled us down during the last part of the show. Looking forward to seeing more performances in future.

What a wonderful show. I wish I had known more about the festival, I would have liked to have seen more of the performances. This is a fantastic opportunity for High School and Junior High School to experience performing in a professional theater.
