We've always enjoyed our time at Nantasket beach but utilizing Northeast's rentals, lessons, and surf camp has elevated it for us! My son loved getting out there surfing with a group of kids enjoying the surf and beach together for the week.

I took a 5 day surf camp with Northeast Surfing this summer. Not only that, but I have also done single lessons in the past. I have always been pleased with the instruction, preparation, and hands-on teaching from everyone I have surfed with at Northeast Surfing. They are fun, professional, and clearly know their information. Even when I asked questions that the instructor of the day couldn't answer, they were quick to point me to someone who could, or followed up with the information later. Beyond the instruction though, the thing that stands out about Northeast Surfing is the level of care from the owner. He is so dedicated to the sport and quick to offer resources, recommendations, and honest assessments of where each person is at, the best places for boards/equipment, and anything else. In all of my interactions he has been quick to let people know they can always call, text, or reach out for any help outside of lessons. The willingness to help and provide instruction in any setting goes so far above and beyond what you would expect for the price, that I will absolutely be returning to Northeast Surfing.

Patrick is a truly top notch surf instructor. I have done two week long surf camps in 2023 and somewhere around 10 lessons between 2022 - 2023. I really enjoyed working with Ryan, Patrick, Kevin and Lucy in particular. Each of them gave specific feedback and customized their lesson plan to the individuals in each group.

My 12 year old daughter has become a surfer through Northeast!! She started 2 years with a one time lesson and she was hooked! Last summer she did the one week camp and improved significantly. The camp councilors were attentive and really watched the kids. What I love most is that they focus on safety, reading the waves as well as skills. She was surfing on her own by the end of the summer and early fall. I felt safe letting her go in on her own while I was on the beach (there were other surfers in the water). She has done 2 weeks of camp this summer and had fun even the week when the surf wasn't great. I highly recommend Northeast surfing for any kid!!

My 8 year old daughter has done this camp two years in a row and loves it. Her skills improved so much and she has a blast. If you do the morning session, there's plenty of free parking so you can stay and watch for a bit. Can't recommend enough!

My 10 year old son did his first week of surf camp this year. He said it was his favorite summer camp! This is great for all ages and skill sets. Highly recommend for a different summer activity/camp
