I usually don’t post reviews unless you’re really good or really bad. Today I went to get my truck inspected like I have for the last 20 years here and today was the last time. It’s not like it was when Steve was there. He was a nice guy. His kid and his wife very rude. I politely said stated please don’t get any grease in my truck as it’s happened in the past. No big deal, I just don’t want to nor shouldn’t have to clean up a mess left behind by a mechanic. When I made the comment the girl snookered at me and pretty much ignored me. I said is there a problem. She said no. I said ok good. I asked the kid who she was and he said that’s his wife. I said ok. Why is she so rude when I politely asked to not get grease in my truck. His response was that’s a kind of unnecessary comment or something along that line. He also said she doesn’t even work on cars. I’m like why is she here inspecting my truck if she’s not qualified to work on cars Anyway, if I hadn’t had grease in my truck from a previous time I wouldn’t have said anything.
I go here just to get my truck inspected. Nothing else.
As the saying goes. Those who want respect, give respect. Otherwise you’re gonna have a real problem. A big one. Smarten up kids.

We were told by a Chevy dealer in Fitchburg that we needed front brakes in about a month. Went to My Mechanic in Ayer.They said they didn’t need to be done for at least 6 oil changes from now. They could have just replaced them but they told us the truth. Honest mechanics are hard to come by. You sold us. We just found a new mechanic. Thanks.

Two sweet dogs greeted us at the door. The technicians were kind and helpful. The service was timely and exactly what we were looking for. I was with my toddler and everyone could not have been more kind to us. We will be back for future service.

My Mechanic is my first choice for auto repair. They have taken great care of my Jeep. I have been there for brakes, mystery noises, and inspection stickers. Repairs are quick, complete, and reasonably priced. Most recently I brought my boss's car in for an inspection sticker. I had the children I care for with me. Everyone in the shop was attentive and friendly with the kids. The girls especially loved the dogs. Ashley even helped buckle the girls safely back in their car seats when the inspection was complete. This is a wonderful business. Everyone at My Mechanic truly cares for their customers, and they do great automotive work! Thank you My Mechanic and Ashley. You have two little girls who will be bringing their cars to you when they grow up. They ask to go back now!

I have a 2011 Juke I absolutely love. Thought there was possibly a timing chain issue. Took it to Nissan and was quoted almost more than what I owe on the car to find ound out it was a spark plug issue and possibly a battery issue according to Nissan. Quote was almost $5,000. I politely paid the diagnostic fee and drove my car straight to My Mechanic. Gave them the paperwork and was amazed they quoted me less than a 3rd of Nissans price. And found an issue with my alternator that Nissan did not catch. This is an amazing shop that gives great service and amazing prices making keep the car you love a possibility. Not force you into a new higher note like the dealership wanted from us. Bonus is you get to see their sweet pups when you go in. ***

They are awesome. I trust them with my vehicles. There honest people, with a wealth of knowledge. They are fair in prices and not out to make a buck. They have been totally honest with us and are very professional. That's my opinion.
