The variety of courses, a site that is easy to navigate and quick response are just a few reasons we love VHS Learning here at CHS. Our population is small and the VHS course catalog gives our students a larger variety of courses to take whether it be an elective or AP class that doesn't fit into their schedule. Their teachers are always willing to work with us to ensure the students are successful and I've never had a problem that wasn't resolved quickly. If you are thinking about it as a student or a district it will be a positive experience.

Our school's partnership experience with VHS has always been positive. We find the academics to be challenging and engaging for our students. VHS offers students the opportunity to explore interests and career paths that supplement the Academy's school's curriculum. We have found the teachers to be available and responsive and I have always been impressed with the ease of communications between VHS teachers and myself (as site coordinator). Our school has been working with VHS for over 13 years. VHS offers so many amazing and challenging courses that a small high school cannot provide. VHS is definitely for self-motivated students that are able to meet deadlines and work more independently. VHS teachers offer virtual office hours that have been extremely helpful for my students that like to connect with their teachers and ask questions. The weekly checklist helps my students plan their assignments and not have any surprises.VHS is a great addition to our school.

VHS Learning has been a crucial resource for my high school, enabling students to attend Advanced Placement courses that they would otherwise not have had the opportunity. I have acted as Site Coordinator for almost 25 years at this point. The students receive challenging instruction and score well on their AP exams. Both teachers and administrative staff are readily available to assist with any situation. I cannot speak highly enough of the program and the educational experience my students have received.

As a VHS Learning Teacher and Site Coordinator I have significant professional experience with the VHS Learning program. My students have benefitted in numerous ways. First of all, they get to take courses that are not offered by our school. Students find that they can focus on the areas of study that interest them. Also, they are given the opportunity to practice learning on an online platform which is something they will need to know if they wish to pursue higher education.
