If I could give a negative number to this dance school, I would. My now-husband and I signed up for private dance lessons with Will in March in preparation for our July wedding, for which we had two "first dances" planned. Will's idea of teaching was to show us a move, then leave the room and let us practice on our own, without supervision or assistance. Naturally, we did not make much progress, and when I talked to Will about the difficulties we were having mastering certain moves, he snapped that we clearly were not practicing enough.

I ended up cancelling the last few lessons (Will not only did not return our money, but did not even inquire further into my email explaining that the lessons "were not working for us"). We instead took lessons with Monica at American Ballroom in Springfield who, with just six weeks to go until our wedding, got us looking like professionals! Our first dances were flawless -- NO thanks to Will and Dance Northampton. Don't waste your money on this place!

We took private lessons here with Will for our wedding. It was great! My new husband and I are not great dancers to begin with and Will was super patient and taught us some East Coast swing steps for our first dance.
