Usually good and timely service. I understand the need for test drives, but there is no reason why the mechanic should have taken my car off the lot twice to run personal errands after a simple tire change. Unprofessional and unethical. Car should have been done 20 minutes before he returned for the second time.

Great honest People, Told them what I needed and they did no more no less. They understood I was on a budget and didn’t try and upsell me on anything. They gave me incredibly fair pricing for a job other places would’ve charged double for.

Incredibly kind and helpful! I had an extremely minor issue that only took a wrench to fix but they had it fixed in ten seconds flat (didn’t even have to wait for an appointment). I so appreciated it and only felt mildly embarrassed. 100% would recommend for anyone looking for an honest mechanic - especially for those who know nothing about cars or fixing them

Took my daughter’s car here while she was up at UMASS. They were nice enough over the phone but not very responsive and it took much longer to get the job done than it should have. They even had to bring it elsewhere to get steering column replaced. Now only a couple months later it’s back in the shop for another steering column. Our home mechanic is 1/2 their price and getting a factory column. Would not recommend these folks. Very disappointed and out over $600 for nothing!

College Motors was terrific fixing the grid that needed to be reattached under my car. They squeezed me in on a busy day and were so speedy and the price was VERY reasonable. I'm so glad to have a neighborhood mechanic shop that is honest, easy to deal with, and reasonably priced. Thanks so much!

College Street Motor’s has saved me MULTIPLE times! Extremely honest, kind, hardworking people at the shop. Even offered to drive me to work!
I came in for an issue with my heat plate, they were able to take it in the same day & finished within 3 hours! I was blown away. Plus, the other shop i had called estimated cost of $200, and they charged me $50. Literally will be a customer for LIFE.

Extremely lazy and incompetent. I sent it in for two issues. They fixed one and just gave up completely on the other, leaving my fuse box open with the cover laying on the floor along with some scrap of foam that I don't even know where it came from. They also never called me to say it was done and apparently had it sitting there for days while I was without a car, and only let me know it was done after I called them.
