For those interested in competition, the team offers a fantastic array of opportunities—from parades, regional and national competitions to workshops. My children are inspired by the older dancers, who provide encouragement and foster a supportive atmosphere.

So nice having such a wonderful dance studio right here in Middletown! When we first started at this dance studio, I wasn't sure if my boys would enjoy dance, so I appreciated having the opportunity for them to try a free class before registering. Last season, I enjoyed the shared experience of attending a Tiny Dancer class with my two-year-old daughter. And as I'm starting my third year in an adult dance class, I love what a fun mental challenge it is to learn and remember dance steps as I get older. I also love watching all of the recitals and performances and appreciate how organized everything is. I recommend trying a dance class for your child or yourself.

My daughter has been dancing at Dee’s for over 6 years now, she started when she was 4 and she has loved every minute of it! Not only is the studio super convenient for everyone in the surrounding Middletown area but all the staff are great with the kids. Dee and her staff also make sure all the parents and students are always informed with what is going on with very detailed weekly emails. We enjoy not only the dance classes throughout the year but all of the camps and theater productions they put on.

DBSD has been a staple in my life since the 3 year the studio opened and now my child attends dance there. This studio truly looks to provide enjoyment and growth in all types of dance for your child. You can see the love all the teacher have for their craft and it’s a true testament to see the same teachers there after many years and students come to teach there after school and college. 10/10 recommend!

This is our first year at Dee Buchanan after 3 years at another local studio and I couldn’t be happier we switched. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The studio communication is top notch with weekly emails so you are always informed. My tiny dancer is thrilled that she gets to do not only an end of year recital but also a nutcracker peroformance. The studio also offers several events and drop in classes for opportunities to be involved in the studio community. Highly recommend!
