My husband and I worked with Alex to learn a first dance for our wedding. Neither of us had any experience dancing but he created a fun, perfect dance to the song we chose and taught us in a way that made it all seem so simple. He was full of energy and really encouraging which helped us be totally comfortable and allowed us to have fun. He was very responsive and easy to schedule time with, even though we had a short window of time before the wedding. After just 2 sessions with him we had our dance down, and he recorded it on my phone so we could reference it if we forgot between then and the wedding. All of our family and friends commented on how fun the dance was and how great we looked! Can't thank him enough!

Where to begin?! Working with Kelley at Rhythm & Smooth in preparation for the first dance at our wedding was a decision we would make over and over again without a moment's hesitation. From the first email she was extremely communicative, genuine, professional, and cared about finding the best way to teach us. I'll admit it's hard for me not to take the lead while dancing, but she gave my husband the encouragement and foundational knowledge he needed to feel comfortable and confident on the big day. We purchased a package of 3 one-hour lessons and were beyond pleased, and felt it was enough time to get our skills up to snuff. She began by showing us some basic steps and spins at our first lesson, which we practiced at home, and then by our third lesson we were learning how to dip (which we nailed, all thanks to Kelley!). I would recommend Kelley with Rhythm & Smooth to anyone looking to add a special something to their first dance. Thanks, Kelley! We had so much fun.

Kelly helped get over my fear of the “wedding slow dance in front of everyone” I was having. She is awesome, personable, laid back, and just all around a great instructor to have in your pocket if you are like me. She considered everything, the dress, the shoes, the photos. It was also fun leading up to the big day to have a standing wine date with her and my future hubs.
