I Attended in 2011 and the quality of education was failing very low. Although 50% of professors were amazing the rest were an embarrassment. Starting with the fashion director and fashion history professor "Mrs Parson" she was the worse. She will really show you the ugly side of fashion. and give mediocre assignments just to fill up the time. And she also baby seat a highly HDHD Stilling professor who would not teach. he will spend the 3 hour class looking at videos of Kim kardashian on YouTube and when everyone complained Mrs Parson would just tell us that maybe that wasn't the school for us. this was a 100k career that leaves you nothing

I’m glad this place is shutting down. My school life made me feel like I was in hell; the students/admissions at the time were awful, the people in charge of helping you look for a job made me feel incompetent because they couldn’t get their addresses and info correctly costing me that job’s time, and the whole experience left me with depression. This school allowed my mother to take out loans for her personal benefit behind my back forcing me into crippling debt that I’m still recovering from. I love art/drawing, but this did not feel like an art school, it felt like a prison.
I regret coming here. I’m glad it crashed and burned.

I just got there and i love it so far, my tuition went down about 75% thanks to scholarships and financial aid. (doesn't mean i won't have some debt, its an expensive school)
The teachers i got are awesome and the people too, they lend you equipment if you need to and they try to help you as much as they can. Computers are great and always have the latest software (all of the adobe cc for example) I don't get the bad reviews to be honest.

----graduate review----
My initial thoughts were right, but after a while you feel like you aren't learning anymore and you're just wasting time. It's still a good school, but if I had had the chance to go to another university like Ringling, I would've.

This “university” ruined my life. I attended about ten years ago for film and paid over $100k for my bachelors. My thesis was canceled because they couldn’t afford it though…total garbage of a school and I seriously wonder how it’s allowed to operate such a fraud. I had zero help finding a job and as a result of the stress this caused me I began to have seizures shortly after “graduation.” I can’t drive, work a real job or do anything meaningful now because of Ai. Stay away, anything they can “teach” is already on YouTube.

Was marked a dropout instead of a graduate. Animation students are treated terribly. Never updated our equipment or software licenses during the quarantine, had no way to complete any assignments for our classes. Was forced to graduate with no thesis. Professors are lazy and prejudice. The school even hires “professors” who have been blacklisted. You do the staff workers jobs for them since they’re too lazy to do so. Can’t believe I had to go to this school. These are just the sins this school had committed off the top of my head. Don’t do work-study here either. We’re outright called “bottom-feeders” compared to the department. Aspiring animators and artists beware.
