JLA was a home to me (Amanda) as a young dancer. Mrs D, the owner, is a wonderful woman. It is most definitely the best dance studio you can send your young dancers to in terms of quality lessons from experienced dance instructors. When it came time to send our 3 girls into their dance journey, there was no hesitation to drive the 40 minutes back to Livingston just so they could take classes at Jean Leigh each week. This is our girls' 4th year, and it has been so worth it for our family and has brought such joy to our girls! They are growing into beautiful and confident dancers because of how they are poured into at JLA. Thank you Mrs D and thank you to all the staff!

I have a daughter, a granddaughter, & 2 nieces who have attended Jean Leigh. My daughter is now 25, but the other 3 still attend. The staff are awesome, & treat you like family. I’ve even had some of the staff & other parents offer assistance during my family’s times of bereavement! They are truly wonderful people

Jean Leigh has always had a wonderful reputation for being a prestigious dance studio. I chose to place my daughter in classes here at 2 years old and she is now enjoying her 9th year of dance. The friendships, discipline, technique and skill she has gained over the years has given me complete confidence that we made the correct choice. If you want your child to have classical training with amazing teachers (as well as choreographers from all over the country), fun classes, a large variety of dance disciplines to choose from, and the opportunity to make lifelong friendships as well... this is the place!

I started my experience with Jean Leigh Academy of Dance when I was 2.5 years old. I was there through my graduation from high school and college, where I then went on to NYC and Los Angeles to further my dance career. I have to say that all my success in my career was due to the training, discipline and love from my teachers at Jean Leigh. Dianna Jones, the owner, is one of the most gifted teachers you will ever encounter. Among all of the knowledge she possesses, at her core lies the heart of a TRUE teacher and educator. I believe in this studio with my entire being and believe any child who steps foot in the door would get the same training, discipline and love that I received. As a new mom, I will feel confident enrolling my daughter here and I can't wait to see her on stage!

Jean Leigh is easily one of the best dance studios around. They do an incredible job teaching the girls to dance with precision, strength, and dignity. The routines are always classy and inspiring, while the teachers teach the younger girl to have fun and love dance and push the older girls to excellence. My girls LOVE Jean Leigh!

From the preschool daddy dance to being a part of company and everything in between, it has been an incredible to journey to watch my girls grow up in this studio. Jean Leigh Academy of Dance is a wonderful studio! My granddaughters and great granddaughter love being there. Their teachers in the Preschool, Primary and Teen divisions are Amazing! We are Jean Leigh for Life!!!!
