These people are awesome! The staff are very caring, and very friendly. They treat the kids and parents very great and teach them to be responsible. My kids have went here for years, and after seeing how another school in town, how the owner acts and treats people, there is no place better than East West.

Excellent!!! Our daughter started last summer and grown so much with the fabulous instructors. She has gain confidence and improved her skill set greatly. She looks forward to it every Wednesday and Friday and We are looking forward to taking advantage of the summer camp next year. I wish I had the patience of the instructors and they work with these kids and are always encouraging while expecting and teaching respect at the same time. I would recommend East West Karate to anyone, and have to many.

Awesome instructors and group of kids! I would recommend this karate school to anyone. The instructors know the students on a personal level and always take the time to make sure the students get the proper training. My son loves going there and they are our second family. With me being gone with the military this help keep him distracted and he has gained a lot of confidence since starting there.

Best instructors and group of kids! We have been apart of East West for over a year and my son has learned so much! My son has gained more confidence and is still gaining it everyday thanks to East West! We are so blessed and proud to be a part of such an amazing karate school!!! This is an amazing establishment and, even more awesome, the people- students, instructors, and families! My son won a free week through one of their many booths... that was three years ago and we have been there ever since! My daughter has since started as well. Not only is it a positive environment, but so many fun activities and opportunities. The instructors and martial arts itself has instilled values into my children, and myself, as an involved parent, that they will take with them wherever they go in life; things like respect, confidence, value, perserverence, setting and teaching goals, and the rewards of their hard work. I am blessed to call this place my extended home and family! Just phenomenal in its entirety.

East West Karate is a great place. My son has been in the after school program for three years now and has learned so much. I will always recommend East West Karate, it's not just a place, it's a family. Everyone who works there is absolutely wonderful. If you need an after school program this place is hands down the best place for your child to go!!!

There are so many great things to say about this academy. I started my boys in this academy in hopes that they would build self confidence & get out of the shy stage. My oldest has achieved just that. He went from no confidence in himself to reaching an orange belt. He is better behaved. He has matured a whole lot and plus he took his self confidence to the baseball field with him. He went from striking out almost every time to being a consistent hitter.
Now my youngest has just started. He has graduated up to a yellow/white belt and he is maturing every day. He's only 4 yrs old so right now there isn't a whole lot to expect. His listening skills have also matured since he has been taking classes.
Both my boys love the instructors. All the instructors are the best caring people you will every meet. They would turn over backwards for their students in order to get them to where they need to be. I honestly couldn't imagine my boys learning karate without them. They are excellent at teaching the students. They teach on their kind of level to where they can understand everything.
Like I said before, there is just so many positive things to say about this crew. I could go on & on about them and never once have a negative comment cross my mind. I would definitely recommend this karate academy.

I have been apart of the East West Karate/Somerset Karate Academy family under the direction of Jeff Turner since 1991. Martial Arts has truly changed my life for the better in so many ways. I have had wonderful opportunities to gain scholarships for school, traveling & meeting celebrities, been on television/radio/media events, volunteering for community services, and so much more! The best part is teaching the next generation about Respect, Responsibility, and Discipline the keys to a successful life. Martial Arts is my life and I continue to learn and love teaching daily.
