This is a great place, just alot of segregation brought on by programs, and there isn't really a lot of organization, and if you are considering being a vocalist, might as well just go into instrumentals, because they are able to learn an instrument and sing simultaneously.

I wish I never went here. I was there from 2018-2019. I left before halloween in 2019 due to familial issues. I wish I never met Miss Ruby or most of the teachers there. This place completely killed the love I once held for fine arts. I genuinely do not recommend going here. If you have self esteem look elsewhere they will kill it. Miss Ruby required students to participate in a "contest" for their drawings to be used in a children's book. I didn't win, glad for that she was paid in "exposure". None of those mandatory "contest" felt okay. They were scummy and reeked of exploitation. Miss Powers should have been fired but was kept on because her adoption just got finalized. She shouldn't be anywhere near kids, raising or working with them. Miss Powers was vindictive and most certainly not suited to teaching. Miss Ruby gave us a "choice" of what to display but made the decision to chose something I was actively against. I spent under a second on it. I wanted the peice I put hard work time and effort to be displayed. I made that known she didn't care. I have tried and failed to get my passion back, the passion they stole and crushed. Had the gull to ask me to tell them how I was doing after school...wish I filled that survey out. At the time I wasn't able to walk ended up living back with my parents and I definitely wouldn't have invited them to the funeral had I taken my life. They took what was my only outlet at the time and made it a stresser. I wish I never applied I'd still have my passion and outlet.
