My 96 suburban had very loose and uncontrollable steering after replacing most all steering and suspension parts.
One repair shop did an alignment and said you're ready. It wasn't and their response was it was just tight and would get better.
Another shop did the same but suggested a steering gear box. I put one on. Didn't fixt it but "it drives straight" ..nope.
Came to Harlans. Finally someone listened to me. Went through 5 steering gear boxes. 3 reman and 2 new. It finally drives like it is new. Nicest people. Kept me updated and discussed options. Couldn't be more pleased. I like my new repair shop.

I gotta tip my hat to Mr. Harlan. From the first time I called, I've had nothing but genuinely good treatment. Angela was so pleasant to speak with and quickly followed up with the information I needed.

I was able to quickly get an appointment. Mr. Harlan ran all the diagnostics, alerted me to the problem at hand and gave me great advice on what to do next, unlike the dealership I had visited just a few days prior.

Mr. Harlan is a fine man, runs an honest business, and has a great family. Our community is Blessed to have then providing good service

We brought our vehicle to them after visiting a different mechanic who charged us $200 to drive it around, tell us it has a bunch of engine codes, and we need a new engine. Harlan worked three days on it to provide a quote, though it was still that we needed a new engine, but even helped to try to see if it was covered under a recall. Then they even gave me a discount on the diagnosis because the car isn’t even worth putting a new engine in. We will be back. Thank you Patrick!

Took my truck here twice. The first time they patched a hole in my tire and it started to leak air again within two weeks. The second time they replaced the brake hose, but again within two weeks I lost almost all of my brake fluid because they didn’t tighten a bolt. Customer service was great, but the job didn’t hold up.

Friendly, courteous, and do very good work. I had them do some extensive brake system repairs that my 95 Chevy pickup critically needed. Not did they replace/repair everything but I have a 3 year warranty. I highly recommend them for any vehicle repairs you may need.

Called Harlan Automotive at 8am as soon as they opened. I explained that my truck was overheating and was going to be hauling a trailer and horse home for the weekend. The amazing folk at Harlan shuffled their schedule and was able to get my truck in and fixed by 1pm that same day even though there entire day’s schedule was booked. This is the second time we have used their services and both experienced have been amazing. They take great care of their customers and take great pride in the work that they do. I can’t say enough about them and will recommend them to everyone we can. Also they go out of their way to make sure that any Murray State student is taken care. Got an alignment, tire balance, tires rotated, and small tire hole repaired. Made my ride smoother but my wheels were scratched and chipped in multiple places. My steering wheel and driver’s seat was left dirty, as well as smudges/hand prints on my hood and front bumper. I hope there was a higher level of care for my drivetrain than there was for cleanliness and respect for my vehicle. I’m very disappointed in the quality of service I received.
