This is NOT a reflection of our photographer but of the studio operation - she tried her best to make it work and I could tell she was anxious about the state of the studio and the quality of the shoot. I haven’t gotten the photos back but I don’t doubt her expertise will get us back at least a couple good ones.

As I understand it, ownership recently changed at this studio and the new owners are either still getting up to speed or are not running the studio at the same caliber as the last owners. I’m not kidding when I say the doorknob to our studio space was taped onto the door and fell off when we tried to leave lol. Our studio space also did not have a white backdrop available (which is crazy to me because I feel like that should be standard? It was out getting replaced or something but the studio didn’t give our photog a heads up and literally all my inspiration pictures that I had sent to them had a white backdrop). Will likely not use that space again when we do photos in the future - will just stick to outside.

This new studio is absolutely beautiful. Great natural light, a variety of options and nicely furnished. There are also paper backdrops for photographers to use in a variety of colors. The Loft is an amazing place - my client and I really enjoyed renting the studio for her maternity session!

The only recommendation I have is to Google Leaven Bakery to find it- The Loft is located above the bakery, not the address shown currently on Google.
