Rudy came to my barbershop to a celebratory pop-up and it couldn't have been a better time. He was was super easy to get in contact with, super professional and everything ran smooth. Rudy, is a true sweetheart and keeper of such a precious craft. My partner and I spent an afternoon at River City Tintype to create some forever portraits. We were able to nerd out over Rudy's collection of photographs and find some inspiration for our shots.

We took 3, and never have we ever felt more chill in a space where you're meant to be the focus. It was such a natural experience. 10 out of 10.

What a great experience! You can tell Rudy truly loves his art and is so knowledgeable. The history lesson at the begging of the session was so interesting and his collection of tintypes is beautiful. Our portrait turned out amazing and watching the whole process of the development made it that much more special. Bonus: very cute dog available for pats!

Can’t recommend this place enough! This is the perfect keepsake and tintypes capture a moment in time in a way you just can’t get with other photos. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s so special to have these photos to look back on and to see how I’ve grown and changed. Rudy makes you feel so at ease behind the camera, the space is gorgeous, and you get a history lesson along with sick photos to take home. He’s poured his heart into River City Tintype and it shows 🙂

We are SOOOOO happy with how our pictures turned out. We had the pictures done with our dog, who is all black, and were worried he may not show up. Rudy did a great job getting our dog’s attention and really making him the star of the pictures!! 🙂

It was super cool learning about some of the history and seeing the process.
