The Keen Voice Study is truly the best of the best! If you are looking for excellence, look no further. Ms. Keen is an excellent instructor that has immense knowledge and experience. She encourages her students to be their best and creates a trusting and comfortable environment for them to grow and learn. Her feedback, coaching methods and techniques have allowed me to grow exponentially vocally, in my musicianship, and confidence. Studying under her has been such a privilege and I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for vocal coaching! Oh where can I even start? Ms, Keen is a gift to any student she teaches. She has such positivity, and incredible enthusiasm for each student’s success. My daughter had multiple scholarship offers for college from her vocal auditions and was accepted into the Governor’s School for the Arts which was greatly facilitated with the help of Ms. Keen. She knows competitions, auditions, scholarship, and performance opportunities for each age group, and was there to help with every step of each process. I am forever grateful to Ms. Keen for her inspiration and encouragement that she provided to my daughter. Without her, I know my child would not have had all of the opportunities and successes that she has had over her high school career. I only wish we would’ve started sooner with Ms. Keen. The self esteem and confidence she helps to build in her students is priceless. I could not recommend her more to instruct any vocal student. My daughter plans to continue with Ms Keen into college, as she knows that there are few with her teaching abilities even at the collegiate level. If I could give her 100 stars or more I would wholeheartedly!

My daughter began voice lessons with Keen Voice Studios in July 2022. During that time until now until Catherine Keen’s teaching Rachael has become more confident on stage when singing and acting. With the encouragement and teaching Rachael has grown from just being in the ensemble to featured role in both musicals at her high school. She was even nominated for a cappie award for her role as Aunt March in Little Women. Under Keen’s direction Rachael can now access her low, middle and high registers. We are so pleased with her progress that we are singing Catherine’s praises concerning her teaching. We love Keen Voice Studios.

Catherine Keen is a professional with the best interests for her students at heart. She has high expectations but is right there with the student, encouraging them to do their best. Catherine goes to students' plays and recitals outside of her classes letting her students know that she cares. My child has improved greatly over the years; improvements that would not have been made with just taking chorus at the high school level. I would absolutely recommend Ms. Keen to anyone. My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner.

Catherine Keen is a phenomenal singer/musician, voice coach, music theory teacher, and an all-around amazing person. She constantly seeks out opportunities for her students to continue their musical growth, and consistently provides top-notch, challenging, and encouraging instruction to her students. Our daughter has been taking weekly lessons with her for over 3 years now since 7th grade and the improvement in her vocal technique and vocal maturity is astounding. Ms. Keen has taught our daughters so much in the 2 years that they have been under her instruction. Not only did she improve their vocal skills, she has taught them personal responsibility as well.
