We have been with Mindy for 12 years and I couldn't ask for a better place for my daughters to dance. They learn so much more than dance here. They learn confidence and self-discipline, dedication and responsibility, teamwork and empathy. They have learned how important it is to take care of and love their bodies. I will never be able to thank Mindy, Brooke, Alisha and Dana enough for all that they have poured into my girls and myself. My girls have built life long friendships here. They have safe, caring, healthy relationships with women who will always be there to lift them up when they are down and tell them the truth when they need to hear it. I can't recommend this studio enough. I couldn't ask for better for my girls.

Mindy’s JSCD has been such a blessing to our family. We wanted a safe, loving environment for our children and we found that here. The staff is beyond amazing who truly care about each child. They are all very knowledgable, friendly, patient and understanding.

There are plenty of class options available for each of my children and their various ages. Tuition prices are perfect and less expensive than other places my children have danced.

I love that the teachers and helpers take the kids back without the distraction of parents looking in. This really helps the children focus. During the semester, parents are invited in to see their child’s progress which is so fun to see!

My daughter has been dancing at Mindy’s going on 11 years now. It’s such a family oriented place! It’s the one place my daughter goes that brings her most joy. All of the teachers (and staff) are there with an open ear and a hug to every single dancer! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Great family oriented dance studio. The classes have really promoted self confidence in my kids. Staff is great with the kids, the older dancers do a good job helping with the youngest children.

My daughter went for 2 months this summer (2024). Staff seemed nice to my daughter and my daughter enjoyed the classes. My husband said that when he took her they were a little surrley to him.

We only had 2 issues: they don’t really do make up classes if you re-enroll. Every other dance studio we’ve been to will let you make-up classes if your kid is sick or you are out of town. I guess they want you to come to class sick and get everyone else sick. We enrolled for June & July. Before they knew that we were re-enrolling for July, they did say we could make-up classes in July. When I told them that we were re-enrolling they said that they don’t do make up classes then. I tried to do the make-up classes in the fall instead and was told they don’t roll over to the fall semester.

My 2nd issue is that they don’t allow parents to watch the classes. They told me, “having the parents watch distracts the kids.” But what if we want to see how things are going. We’ve been to many studios who have one-way glass so the parents can watch if they want. Many of the younger kids had to be carried back to their classes crying like it was school or something. It makes me wonder why they don’t let us see what goes on in the class.

The price was decent and all but I’m kind of glad we aren’t re-enrolling to have to deal with this. And when you factor in the fact that you can’t make up classes if you miss a class the price is a bit higher than we wanted.
