A beautiful shrine dedicated to Our Lady with the true Catholic Mass and sacraments

Catholic Faith is anchored by a strong belief in the supernatural. Mass is held in Latin and faithfully performs sacred rites passed along for centuries from one generation to the next. A perfect setting to receive a little help in accessing the mystery, observing the supernatural presence and growing one’s faith.
Humble sheep need not be at war and divide. Union is what we have in common: loving Our Lord and Savior, getting to Heaven. This sacred House of God reminds me that Truth cannot exist without Love.
The grounds are peaceful and beautiful. Endangered tall grass prairie is respected.
The town is charming.
The dress code, for men and women is modesty and Sunday best is humbly respected here, as it has been for centuries.
Beautiful ladies’ mantillas abound, but a lightweight scarf simply draped can do the trick to create a Catholic head covering. It is not veiling as in the Muslim headscarf.
Local parishioners were warm and welcoming at the coffee hour downstairs. Now that the parking lot is fully opened, people can congregate after mass without impeding parking for the next Mass. Krispy Kreme on hand!
Wonderful place to pilgrimage to. The Reliquary Chapel, 1st one on the right, is filled with hundreds of relics.

Have been aware of the project of building The Immaculata for a little over a year now, as I am not a resident of St. Marys. In the town yesterday and asked if there were tours of The Immaculata. A lovely young woman in Sugar Creek, also fantastic, told us the church was generally open and sometimes there were tours, but in any case all were welcome there. North out of town where you cannot possibly miss the immaculata. We had already been wowed by the exterior and now we would see the inside. We came in from the south so walked right into the sanctuary area. Passing through those stores I immediately stopped as it is literally breathtaking. The smell of the wood from the pews took me back to my childhood and the little Presbyterian Church we attended. I don't think it matters what faith you are, when you enter The Immaculata there's a feeling that's palpable, and the beauty is difficult to describe in mere words. Highly recommend visiting.

I can not wait for this beautiful church to open up. I did see a date of May 3 as to when the Immaculata will be consecrated by His Excellency Bishop Fellay. Be aware it is still closed but allowed to take pictures or visit the private college bellow

The 11:00 Low Mass was full of souls. I scarcely saw an empty seat. The priest offered a very holy and sublime Sacrifice of the Mass to God befitting the description of the passion and death of our Christ, the King. It seemed that everyone who was alive there made the journey to the altar rail and received our Lord as He beckoned us to do. We left after saying our thanksgiving for such a holy opportunity feeling as if we had gone to heaven.

Beautiful Church built to venerate the Lord, with an amazing and devout community of laity to serve. The TLM is beautiful, humble, and places the Lord before all else.
