We saw "Will Wonka Jr." here and it was so cute. The theater is amazing! The seats are large and very comfy. The staff is super friendly and well informed. The actors are great and the show was one of the best experiences I've had with my family. We really enjoyed the history of this place as well. Such a great experience! Highly recommend. Get there a bit early too 🙂 They sell tickets to the front row first and work their way back so If ya wanna be in the front, get there early. We were in the back and could see and hear just fine 🙂

Woke and gender-bending. I just went tonight with my young boys to see Christmas Carol. We drove in from Overland Park because the only closer option to see Christmas Carol was the Missouri Rep which wanted hundreds of dollars per ticket., Since my boys are young, that it was older kids who aren't professionals wasn't an issue for us.
But Scrooge, Marley's ghost and several other male characters played by girls just destroyed it for us. It creates confusion for my kids rather than just enjoying a Christmas time tradition.
We went to see a story that was written in the 1840s, not to have modern left wing social engineering shoved down our throats.

Went to see Spamalot here, fun local theatre! Nice old theatre with few frills. Seats are comfortable enough with enough leg room for a 6+foot tall man. Temperature was pleasant throughout the show. No obstructed seats that I saw.

Gorgeous Art Deco built in 1937. Everything is original. It's pretty cool. I wish they could invest the money to make it shine like the gem it is.

This is a great theater! The shows are put on so well! Kids who really love to act and perform will love this theater! Great overall!
