This studio is like my second home! I trained here for 12 years with the best instructors. Amazing performance opportunities and experiences with current professional dancers. You cannot beat the training and quality at AGHDT! Oh and of course the best lifelong memories, friends, and mentors.

Our daughter has been going to this studio for a year now and we see tremendous progress in her skills. She enjoys going to hip-hop, ballet, and modern dance. I see how she has become more self-confident and enjoys expressing herself through dance. The entire staff of this studio are highly professional dancers with many years of experience. In addition, the academy often stages interesting productions for children, where regardless of skill level, each child can become part of a beautiful dance show.
Also, our daughter has become more physically resilient and athletic. We recommend this studio to all families with children. Believe me, here your children will really immerse themselves in the origins of dance and find talented friends among a large group.

AGHDT was my daughter's studio during her teen years. She loved it so much and received such excellent training she is now a professional dancer with the company!
Small class size and exceptional personal instruction is how I would describe the Academy. So many wonderful performance opportunities for dancers of all ages and competition opportunities too, if that is what your dancer is looking for! Truly an exceptional place to learn about and love dance.

I am so grateful for my years of training with AGHDT and my seasons spent dancing with G2. When I started to dance in other contexts I realized the excellence of the training and experience I’d been given at AGHDT. The quality of training is unique and uncommon among other young professional and pre-professional dancers, not only in technique but in artistry and intentionality when performing. The opportunities to perform with the company and other Academy dancers are some of my most treasured memories!

I've been aiming to get to GHDT for a few years now and finally did and only wish I had found the time sooner. We went to a performance in their Florence theatre for this show and it was a wonderful experience. Being so close in this theatre allows you to feel within the show and as a part with the characters. The talent in the expression of movement as well as in their ability to capture a part made this a very special experience. My family and I will definitely be regulars now and greatly encourage anyone who hasn't to witness and support this gem of a theatre right here in our backyard. These are the types of art centers that are under appreciated until they are gone not realizing how seldom something like this comes along and is part of your own community.
