The woman that runs this dance studio is nuts. Ball goal in the parking lot tried literally shooting ball while my daughter was inside dancing and was asked to leave. If this is how she treats her patroitions we will be back to this back Ally 3rd rate non helpful supposed to be awful studio. This is below unsatisfactory. Then they try & justify it after seeing me disturbed by saying that the basketball had glass in it. Basically lied through their teeth to try & cover up the fact that their behavior for lying to me. I would give it (-) review if it was available

Adult classes 7 days a week. Teachers encourage and work with adults of all levels and abilities. Always time for questions and additional support. Thank you 2nd Street Studio of Dance teachers.

We began at 2nd Street Studio because we were looking for a non-competitive dance atmosphere for my daughter. We stayed because we have found our 2nd Family! It has been 5+ years and I cannot recommend this studio enough. The teachers are passionate, friendly, and engaging with their students. They are all positive role models. The studio owners are hard working and out-of-the-box thinkers who have made it easy for my daughter to continue what she loves to do, even during a pandemic, legally and safely. My daughter (and I) has made lasting friendships while also continuing to improve her skills and love for dance. Highly recommend on trying a class...it’s FREE!

We’ve been dancing at 2nd Street since the day it opened. We were looking for a non-competitive studio with a professional but still nurturing and fun environment, and we found our home here! From beginner classes for kids of all ages to advanced classes for experienced teens and adults, this studio has it all, with caring, friendly instructors who love sharing their passion for dance. They are taking great care to protect health and safety while carrying on outdoor classes during the pandemic, and we cannot wait for the day we can return to indoor classes in the beautifully renovated studio space.

My family has been with 2nd street for 4 years now and we have been soo happy! I danced growing up and I know how hard it is to find a company that values family and relationships over competition. The recital costumes are always age appropriate and beautiful, the dances are always appropriate and so well choreographed. The studio definitely values their clients and builds long lasting relationships. Every performance opportunity has been a great experience for my daughters as well as for our family. They have kept our family dancing safely through Covid with online and outdoor classes. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I love 2nd Street! Perfect for anyone who wants quality dance training that is fun and in a non-competitive environment! I've been a member here since opening day and have loved every class. I love the ballet there. Plus, it's the only studio I know of in Rochester that welcomes college students! Definitely recommend!!

Such a great studio, large classrooms, large waiting room with closed circuit TV for parents to view their student, however, during this time of social distancing; the studio is making classes available outside and what creativity they have in making it possible for students to be safe. Circles of piping laid out 6 feet apart and Marley flooring platforms to protect the students in pointe and each student has their own ballet Barre. Wearing masks, distancing and sanitizing are all done to protect the students. The staff are all friendly and love dancing, it shows. Check them out and become a part of their family!

We love 2nd Street Studio of Dance! My kids have danced here since it opened- very positive, professional, and supportive studio! They offer an affordable, friendly, and non-competitive atmosphere while also having a high standard of skills/technique. There is a wide variety of performance opportunities for all ages/skills!
